The First Lady of Lebanon present at Pope Leo XIV’s meeting with bishops, priests, consecrated men and women at the Basilica of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa

The First Lady of Lebanon, Mrs. Neemat Aoun, took part in the private meeting presided over by Pope Leo XIV this morning with bishops, priests, consecrated men and women, and those working in the pastoral field at the Basilica of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa. This was the second stop of his second day in Lebanon, following his visit to the Monastery of Saint Maron in Annaya.

The meeting was also attended by Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Raï, Catholicos-Patriarch of Cilicia of the Armenian Catholics Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, Patriarch of Antioch and all the East of the Greek Melkite Catholics Joseph Absi, Patriarch of Antioch and all the East for the Syriac Catholic Church Ignatius Joseph III Younan, Apostolic Nuncio Paolo Borgia, and a large number of archbishops, superiors general, and heads of religious congregations.
